Mason & Company has been serving Harlingen and the Rio Grande Valley with professional service since 1962. It is a full service real estate firm handling residential, commercial, industrial, and farm and ranch sales as well as property management.

Broker-owner Tom Mason is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he earned a BBA degree majoring in real estate and finance. He has been an active member and past President of the Harlingen Board of Realtors for over 41 years. He was one of the organizers of the Rio Grande Valley Apartment Association and has served that organization twice as its President. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Texas Apartment Association for the past 14 years. He has earned the The Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) designations. Mr. Mason has been active in many civic organizations. He was a member of Harlingen School Board from 1970-1976 serving as President in the 1972-1973, Harlingen Chamber of Commerce Six Shooter Club from 1963 to 1985 and its Chief Sheriff from 1969-1971, Harlingen Beef Club Board of Directors from 1963 to present and its President twice, Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show Board from 1970 to present. He is an active member of the 1st United Methodist Church having served as Chairman of the Finance Committee, Chairman of the Endowment Committee, Chairman of the Administrative Board, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
